“Curiosity is the essence of our existence.”
Firstly, we need to remember that the true vastness of space is literally incomprehensible. Pretty much any interpretation which leaves us astounded & dumbstruck has fulfilled its purpose. With that thought, let’s celebrate the great unknown, SPACE!
Space day is celebrated in the spirit of learning, it encourages kids and adults to learn more about space. Today’s day is celebrated in admiration of the ever-expanding outer space or namely the universe.
Universe is so fascinating that even to this day it is full of mysteries.
What comes to your mind when you think about space? The big bang, or the first human to land on the moon, or does space make you wonder about when was water first discovered on Mars and Moon? Is there an extraterrestrial life somewhere? What’s inside a black hole? What are dark matter and dark energy? These are just a few questions that space enthusiasts might have in their minds. But there are a lot of people that lack this curiosity or it just fades away from them but, it is much more exciting to young kids, they are filled with curiosity and are ready to learn whatever comes their way.
India has been very crucial with its space escapades in this last decade because of some major missions that they’ve undertaken and completed successfully. India’s first interplanetary mission to Mars known as the Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) or Mangalyaan was launched. On 24th September 2014, MOM entered Mars orbit. India became the first country in the world to insert a spacecraft into the Martian orbit in its very first attempt.
On 15 February 2017, ISRO made a world record by successfully launching the highest number of satellites (104) on a single rocket from Satish Dhawan Space Center, Sriharikota, thereby breaking Russia’s record of 37 satellites aboard
the Dnepr rocket in a single flight in 2014.
Ions are ubiquitous in space and are potentially responsible for the formation of increasingly complex interstellar molecules. Until recently, positively charged atoms and molecules were the only ions known in space; however, this situation has changed with the discovery of various molecular anions. Ions are very fundamental in the nature of space & you’d be surprised at the scale you could benefit from these ions. The Burge Ion Dome also releases positive & negative ions into the surrounding air. These ions then act like protectors & destroy viruses, bacteria, allergens, etc. and keep you safe & healthy.
The Burge’s Ion Dome is an air purifier/air ionizer that also releases positive & negative ions into the surrounding air. These ions then act like protectors & destroy viruses, bacteria, allergens, etc. and keep you safe & healthy.
The universe is filled with exciting questions and answers but only if you are curious enough. National Space Day encourages all the people in the world to go out there and explore the innumerable possibilities that await. So, on this year’s National Space Day let’s take a pledge to encourage the spirit of curiosity about our universe, the outer space & all the things we don’t know!
Which one works better? An Air Purifier or An Air Ionizer? Read more to find out.
Do you know why we celebrate National Honesty Day? I’m sure most of you must’ve never even heard of it so allow me to explain
